Sports ground renewal for Smythesdale
The professional team at Turfcare were brought in to complete an oval renovation for Smythesdale’s football and cricket oval. This complete reconstruction and re-shaping of the existing AFL oval included a new drainage system and sand profile.
We removed the existing irrigation, goals and surface, installing a new irrigation system and concrete spoon drains for drainage. Our team also installed a new synthetic cricket wicket with covers, new coaches boxes, new fencing and new AFL goals.
The oval was finished by being sprigged with Santa Ana grass and treated with a site-specific growth fertiliser suited to the oval’s needs and location.
