Soccer field renovation success
Turfcare worked with Wyndham City Council for the renovation of Grange Soccer Oval in Chirnside Park.
The existing soccer pitch was water logged, it had weeds and wear & tear from heavy use over the years. Turfcare were committed to construct a well draining surface ready for play for the 2018 Soccer season, this process involved:
- The existing surface being excavated and removed
- A new drainage system being installed to prevent the water collection for happening
- A specifically designed irrigation system installed
- New soil was placed and laser levelled
- 8000m2 mega rolls turf were laid
- Brand new soccer goals installed
- Followed by a 6 weeks maintenance period
Turfcare are very proud of the results produced and very pleased to meet the timeline with the soccer pitch ready for play 2018 soccer season.
