Bannockburn Oval delivered in record time
Turfcare completed the Bannockburn P-12 College Oval Construction, which encompassed the main oval and soccer pitch. Our team completed the project working within a very tight timeframe of just 9.5 working days!
This oval construction involved transforming a paddock into a junior soccer pitch and 1.7 hectare AFL oval – a project that would usually take more than 20 weeks to complete.
Our experienced team oversaw all aspects of the oval construction and soccer pitch, including:
- Bringing in pH-balanced soil
- Applying and rotavating amendments into the soil
- Installing irrigation, Mego-Flow drainage and a gravel drainage blanket
- A specified sand profile
- Laser levelling
- Laying 23,800m2 of Kikuyu instant turf
- Installing coaches boxes
- Installing AFL and soccer goals
- A three-month maintenance plan.
