Howard Harmer Oval, Barwon Heads

Renewing the Howard Harmer Oval for the local community

The Turfcare team completed the renovation of the Howard Harmer Oval project in Barwon Heads, near Geelong.

The project involved resurfacing the local football oval, creating better drainage and a better shaped surface. We kept the existing irrigation, removed the existing surface and cultivated the profile, complementing it with soil amendments, installing new goals and laying 15,000m2 instant Kikuyu turf to finish.

Our team provided a 12-month maintenance plan, working around the Barwon Heads Seagulls Football Club timelines, ensuring they always had an impeccable surface for play.
