A premier sports transformation
Turfcare completed the Grenville Sports Field Construction at The Quay Estate in Torquay, near Geelong. The project included the construction of a football field and cricket wicket.
This full oval reconstruction involved turning a paddock into a functioning sportsground, with works including:
- Installing drainage and irrigation systems
- Installing new fencing, goal posts, coaches boxes and protective netting
- Rejuvenating interfacing between ovals
- Working closely with engineers and the client to ensure specs were on point as specified, such as installing the fence on concrete footings for easy removal.
Our team was able to re-use the existing soil for the sand profile, screening the sand on site and saving a lot of money on the overall project cost and providing a fantastic result for the client.
