School grounds care excellence
Spotless awarded Turfcare the tender for Grounds & Gardens Maintenance of four schools across the Geelong Region in 2020.
The team carry out the extensive program 5 days per week providing maintenance of the lawn and sports ovals as well as garden beds and passive areas at Armstrong Creek Primary School, Hamlyn Views School, Bannockburn P-12 College & Torquay Coast Primary School.
Some of the regularly completed tasks are:
- Regular mowing & edging of lawn and passive areas.
- Monitoring turf for signs of weeds and pests and applying products as required.
- Aeration of ovals and passive areas three times during the year.
- Turf renovations across all schools including scarifiying, topdressing and oversowing.
- Irrigation audits and minor maintenance.
- Maintenance of garden areas and trees.
- All areas cleared of litter and debris.
- Monthly reporting.
- Soil tests and reports.
